On April 1. 2010 the first Megaherz remix album will be introduced, accompanied with big names of the gothic and electro music scene. Their influence is noticeable in the upcoming album and really amazing interpretations developed from this collaboration . ]]> The day has come eventually. Axel Rudi Pell will release a brand new studio album called “The Crest” via SPV on April 26th 2010 (Germany: April 23rd 2010). The album will feature 10 brandnew songs which run approx. 57 min. “This is definately our Masterpiece so far, it has everything to become a real classic in the long ARP history ! A record packed with energy and emotions ! In a few weeks we will put one complete track on this site for your listening pleasure, so stay tuned !” Axel and the band will start their next tour in May.

“We will split the tour in different sections, so the dates for MAY are only the first part. We will definately do more shows in the fall around October and a few summer dates as well”!

In my opinion this cover art is their best so far, what do you think?

]]> The release date for the upcoming Eisbrecher’s album has been announced for 16th April, 2010. No official cover nor track-list available yet, however the expectations are high!

Previously advised:

On July 10, 2009, their official website stated that Alexx and Noel are working on their fourth studio album and is expected to be released in early 2010. This will be Alexx’s 9th Album overall on Vocals as the first 5 (Herzwerk, Wer Bist Du?, Kopfschuss, Himmelfahrt & Herzwerk II) were from his Megaherz days. On January 1, 2010 on the bands official website they announced that their 4th studio album will be in stores in mid April.

Announced on the official website the new album is entitled Eiszeit and is set to be released on April 16th 2010. The first single from the album will be Segne deinen Schmerz and is set to be released on March 19th 2010.

The band has performed at many large European music festivals including the (Nova Rock, Summer Breeze, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, M’era Luna, Amphi & Zita Rock) festivals.

]]> The official page is teasing us and announcing some news about the upcoming album Truth or Dare. The album shall be released on February 26th, 2010.

Truth Or Dare is the fourth compilation album by the German band Oomph!, released under GUN. The band re-recorded 16 of their songs in English. The Songs God is A Popstar and The Power of Love, have already been recorded in english previously. Some of the titles, as well as lyrics, have been changed, rather than directly translated. Augen Auf! (Eyes Open) Has become Ready Or Not (I’m Coming).

]]> Tokio Hotel’s latest album (second English studio album) is called Humanoid. There is significant sci-fi imagery presumably aimed at a male audience, while the band’s look aimed at female fans. The album features production from hit alchemists The Matrix, and is inspired by science fiction and was recorded both in German and English .

Bill wanted record to have only one name worldwide. The word Humanoid is pronounced differently in the English and German but it is written the same way in both languages. There were twenty – five songs recorded for the album but only twelve tracks appeared on the standard version while sixteen on the deluxe version. The producer of the album is again David Jost. And as a singer Bill Kaulitz said there is more experimentation on this album that on the previous one. The album has a number of various parts and melodies.

It can be quite confusing for our fans as Billy said but the band cannot wait to play it live. The new direction is evident especially on the track “Humanoid”. Billy shifted melodies a handful of times. Jost adds that the brothers took on a big role and a more hands-on approach in the studio for Humanoid.

This is the first time when Bill and Tom have co-produced a majority of the tracks on the new album. All process was intuitive even though Bill and Tom had a very clear vision of how the tracks should sound. The cover looks like a concoction of Terminator, Brain Salat Surgery and Bill Kaulitz all bundled into one humanoid.

]]> Tobias has just decided that there is too much material to put it all on one album. So the next chapter of Avantasia will be spread over two albums.

“I have always given my very best, but this new chapter in Avantasia’s history is too much and too ambitious to be just a regular album. I have worked on it for years now, and it has become even more than two albums! I don’t know if I will release one first, or both simultaneously, or maybe even both in one special package. It’s all up to whatever label is going to release it, we’ll see. The production is so massive and I have so many guests this time. It’s the continuation of the “Scarecrow”-story.”

After so many years of desperate waiting the new Rammstein album is right here (better to say in the shops :)

“Liebe ist für Alle da” will appear as a Digipack-Standard Edition (11 tracks), as well as a Special Edition that includes 5 additional bonus tracks.

We have just been informed that Universal Music is planning to release a very special “Liebe ist für Alle da” Deluxe-Edition, designed by Rammstein, that is set to appear as an extremely limited edition worldwide during the pre-Christmas period.

As we say: “You’ve got a pussy, we have the dicks” the LIFAD-Deluxe-Cutlery in all it’s splendour will be available: Handcuffs, lubricant, six dildos and the Special Edition as the soundtrack to this. Everything is neatly packed in an aluminium case.
