]]> After two female singers on Avantasia – Sharon del Adel (on “Avantasia: The Metal Opera I & II”) and Amanda Somerville (on “The Scarecrow”) – the man behind Avantasia, Tobias Sammet, has just announced another female vocalist for the new Avantasia double album. Her name is Cloudy Yang and Avantasia fans may be already familiar with her, as she was singing backing vocals on Avantasia tour in 2008 and her voice can also be heard in Dragonfly song (from last Edguy album “Tinnitus Sanctus”). You can find her in some videos from 2008 tour, e.g. this one.

Tobias Sammet’s praiseful comment on her is located at www.tobiassammet.com as well as full list of guest musicians which includes Bruce Kullick, Klaus Meine, Tim “Ripper” Owens, Michael Kiske, Jorn Lande, Eric Singer, Jens Johansson…
I just remind that the discs will be called “Angel of Babylon” and “The Wicked Symphony” and come out on April 3.
