]]> A brand new song from the new Avantasia album has just been posted at TobiasSammet.com. It is a shorter version (radio edit) of the first track of the album called “Dying For An Angel“. Musicians on this track include Klaus Meine and Tobias Sammet on vocals, Tobias on bass, Sasha Paeth on guitars and Eric Singer on drums.

]]> It’s less than 2 months before the new double album will be released and we already know the titles of the songs that will appear on the CDs. I have already updated the DISCOGRAPHY, so feel free to read through the names and imagine what will be the songs about.

Previously advised:

In the fall of 2009, Sammet announced the release of two new albums, The Wicked Symphony and Angel of Babylon, to be released on April 3, 2010. The story is set as a continuation of The Scarecrow. Some of the special guests have been announced: drummers Eric Singer, Alex Holzwarth and Felix Bohnke, keyboardist Jens Johansson of Stratovarius, as well as vocalists Michael Kiske, Bob Catley, Jørn Lande, Tim “Ripper” Owens, Klaus Meine, Russell Allen, Andre Matos and Jon Oliva.
