Tokio Hotel gets EMMA award in Finland

Tokio Hotel has just received EMMA award for “International Act of the Year” (Vuoden ulkomainen artisti) in Finland. EMMAs are awarded annually since 1983 and the winners are chosen by music critics. The awards for 2009 were announced at Emma Gaala ceremony in Helsinki’s Peacock-teatteri on Thursday, February 4. Other nominees in the international category included Alexander Rybak, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Muse, Paramore, Pink, Rammstein, Robbie Williams and The Baseballs. Complete results of EMMA awards here, nominations here.
